Giang had told me the week before that she wanted to have late lunch with me sometime after class. After classes we went to the Boba place opposite my college for a small meal and drink. I got a honey lemon tea with Lychee jelly and a mince pork bowl. We shared a calamari box.
We sat there and talked for hours, about her family, her friends back home in Vietnam, the guy who gives her rides everyday, and even Vietnamese politics. She was great company and I really felt our bond deepen.
